It certainly has been a busy and interesting year with a bigger emphasise on wildlife friendly gardens and having a verdant outside space to retreat to. The benefits to health and general wellbeing has been discussed in the media and we have found many clients want to have a garden that encourages insects and birds into the garden.
We have enjoyed working on a diverse range of projects this year from several large scale country gardens in the New Forest to tiny courtyards in busy town centre locations. Both have problems to overcome and it is always an interesting challenge to solve these issues and create practical and beautiful solutions. We have also completed plans for several local care homes, creating safe and sensory areas for residents to enjoy and benefit from.
Leading up to Christmas we are overseeing two gardens which we designed earlier in the year. One, a modern, entertaining/family garden in Talbot Woods and the other a listed Georgian farmhouse in Blandford. These are well underway and pictures can be found on our Facebook page. We are looking forward to planting them as soon as weather allows in the new year.
